Aurthor Ellen Troutmand and her family own Windy Meadows Stables and get great pleasure from intoducing their horses to vistors. She has written "The Tails of Windy Meadows" so readers can get to know some of the colorful characters who live in the barns on her beautiful horse farm. Windy Meadows is a working horse farm located in the heart of the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky in an equestrian community called L'Esprit. it is home to nearly 100 horses of various breeds, disciplines and ages - US national, Canadian National and World Champions, as well as future champions, lesson horses and retirees.
